Marketplace Terms of Service
Last updated: 31 July 2026
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Marketplace Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Lineup Labs (OPC) Private Limited ("Court Cobra", "we", "us", or "our"). They govern your access to and use of the Court Cobra marketplace website and related marketplace services (the "Marketplace").
By creating an account or using the Marketplace, you agree to these Terms and our Marketplace Privacy Policy. These Terms contain assumption-of-risk provisions, releases, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification obligations. If you do not agree, do not use the Marketplace.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Marketplace. Your age is self-declared. Court Cobra does not independently verify it.
If you use the Marketplace for another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind them and that both you and they agree to these Terms. You are responsible for complying with every law, venue rule, contract, permit, tax obligation, and consumer protection requirement that applies to you.
3. Your account
3.1 Account information
Account creation requires a verified email address, verified mobile number, display name, confirmation that you are at least 18, and acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. A suggested or displayed name is not proof of legal identity. Aadhaar identity verification is optional and is governed by the consent flow and our Privacy Policy.
3.2 Account security
You are responsible for access to your email and mobile number, for every action taken through your account, and for signing out of devices you do not control. Contact developer@courtcobra.com immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
3.3 One account per person
Each person may maintain only one active Court Cobra account. You may not sell, transfer, lend, or share an account. We may restrict, merge, or remove duplicate, fraudulent, or misused accounts.
4. What the Marketplace does and does not do
The Marketplace lets members browse public listings or share private games, court offers, player availability, and court requests; exchange messages; record participation or interest; share mobile numbers under member-controlled settings; confirm certain marketplace status changes; and leave experience ratings.
Court Cobra supplies the technical platform only. Court Cobra is not an event organizer, venue owner or operator, booking provider, sports instructor, broker, auctioneer, reseller, buyer, seller, employer, agent, representative, payment processor, escrow provider, debt-collection service, insurer, background-check provider, safety service, transport provider, or emergency service.
Except for the narrow meaning of the ID Verified badge described in Section 5, no listing, profile, rating, message, mobile-number exchange, participation status, "sold" status, or other Marketplace record means that Court Cobra has verified a person, completed a payment, confirmed a booking, approved a transfer, guaranteed attendance, or endorsed an arrangement.
5. No verification or endorsement
Except for the narrow Aadhaar trust signal below, all member information and Marketplace content must be treated as unverified. In particular, Court Cobra does not:
- verify a member's address, age, qualifications, criminal history, reputation, financial capacity, or authority to act;
- contact a venue to confirm a booking, ownership, availability, transferability, refund right, price, time, court condition, or venue rule;
- inspect a game, court, facility, document, receipt, payment, participant, equipment, or safety condition;
- verify member-provided skill levels, notes, ratings, experience counts, the real-world owner of a submitted mobile number, attendance, or claims made in chat; or
- guarantee that a listing is lawful, genuine, current, complete, accurate, suitable, safe, or available.
An "ID Verified" badge means only that DigiLocker returned an Aadhaar-backed legal name for that Court Cobra account after authentication and consent. While the verification remains on the account, the public profile shows that legal name and verification date; the member's display name may differ. Deleting the verification removes the badge and ID Verified Marketplace access until the member verifies again. The flow does not include a selfie, face match, or device check. The badge is not a background, age, liveness, ownership, booking, payment, honesty, quality, or safety check, and is not an endorsement.
By starting Aadhaar verification, you request DigiLocker to share the Aadhaar record you select with Meon, Court Cobra's identity verification provider. Meon processes that record and returns the verification result to Lineup Labs (OPC) Private Limited. Court Cobra uses the returned information to verify your legal name and prevent the same Aadhaar identity from being verified on multiple accounts. Court Cobra does not retain your Aadhaar number, date of birth, address, gender, photograph, or Aadhaar document.
A "member since" date only reflects when the Court Cobra account was created. Listing counts and experience ratings only summarize activity recorded in Court Cobra. None of these are identity, background, quality, or safety checks. Content moderation, access controls, reporting channels, or removal decisions do not amount to verification or endorsement.
6. Member-to-member arrangements and payments
Members communicate, arrange payment, transfer venue bookings, allocate game costs, agree refund and cancellation terms, and resolve disputes directly with one another. Court Cobra does not receive, hold, process, secure, release, reverse, refund, or guarantee Marketplace payments. Court Cobra does not provide escrow or chargeback protection.
Before committing or paying, you are solely responsible for checking the other member's identity, the booking evidence, the venue's transfer and cancellation rules, the total price, what is included, payment instructions, refund terms, applicable taxes, and any other fact important to you. Use a payment method with appropriate fraud and dispute protection. Do not send payment merely because a listing, message, rating, or mobile number appears on Court Cobra.
Any agreement is exclusively between the members involved. Members must use Court Cobra only in their personal capacity. Court Cobra does not support commercial sellers, venue operators, brokers, systematic resellers, or anyone listing in the course of a business, trade, or profession. Nothing in these Terms removes a consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived.
Posting a listing, joining a game, marking interest, starting a chat, or sending an inquiry does not create an order, booking, transfer, purchase, sale, agency, or other contract through Court Cobra. If members later choose to make an arrangement, they form and perform it independently outside Court Cobra.
7. Listings and member responsibilities
If you create, join, offer, request, or answer a listing, you:
- are solely responsible for the listing, arrangement, payment, and your conduct;
- must have every right, permission, booking entitlement, licence, and authority needed for what you offer;
- must provide accurate sport, venue, date, time, price, currency, availability, skill-level, spot-count, and other material details;
- must promptly correct, close, withdraw, or cancel information that is no longer accurate or available;
- must disclose restrictions, non-refundable amounts, transfer fees, cancellation terms, or venue requirements that may affect the other member;
- must independently confirm all final details before travelling, attending, transferring a booking, or paying; and
- must comply with applicable law, venue terms, sports rules, health and safety duties, and the rights of every other person.
You must not offer a court booking that you do not control or cannot lawfully transfer. Court Cobra does not decide whether a venue permits a transfer or resale.
7.1 Personal court notices
A court offer may be posted only by a natural person acting in a personal capacity to find another member for a genuine, existing booking that the person controls. You must not book inventory for resale, repeatedly list bookings for profit, broker venue access, solicit orders for a business, or use Court Cobra as a commercial sales channel.
Before asking for or accepting any payment, the listing member must give the interested member, in writing:
- their name and a reliable direct contact method, together with evidence of the booking and their authority to transfer or share it;
- the venue identity and contact details, exact date and time, court or service included, and every material restriction or known issue;
- the total amount requested as one figure and a breakdown of the original booking price, tax, venue fee, transfer fee, and every other compulsory or voluntary charge;
- the venue's applicable transfer, name-change, entry, cancellation, and refund rules, including whether the venue has confirmed that the proposed transfer is permitted;
- what happens to the member's payment if the venue rejects the transfer, the booking is cancelled, or either member does not perform; and
- the proposed payment method and the listing member's complaint contact.
The interested member should confirm the booking and transfer permission directly with the venue before paying. The members, not Court Cobra, are responsible for the accuracy of these disclosures, any off-platform agreement, payment, transfer, cancellation, refund, tax, invoice, or consumer obligation.
7.2 Games, players, and requests
Game, player-availability, and court-request listings are personal introductions and coordination notices only. They are not offers by Court Cobra to supply sport, coaching, employment, venue access, or another service. Members independently confirm participation, suitability, venue arrangements, and any direct sharing of actual game or court costs outside Court Cobra.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use the Marketplace to:
- post illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, stolen, unsafe, unavailable, duplicate, or materially misleading listings or content;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, authority, affiliation, experience, booking, payment, price, availability, intention, or location;
- manipulate participation, interest, ratings, listing status, search results, or trust signals;
- harass, threaten, discriminate against, exploit, stalk, defame, or harm another person;
- share another person's private, sensitive, financial, identity, medical, or safety information without a lawful basis and their permission;
- use a mobile number or other contact detail for spam, marketing, harassment, data enrichment, sale, or any purpose unrelated to the Marketplace interaction for which it was shared;
- scrape, harvest, index, copy, resell, or build a database of listings, profiles, messages, ratings, contact details, or member activity;
- use bots, scripts, automated accounts, or unauthorized tools to access or interact with the Marketplace;
- evade rate limits, access controls, privacy settings, suspensions, moderation, or technical protections; or
- disrupt, overload, probe, reverse engineer, damage, or compromise the Marketplace or any connected system.
9. Your content
9.1 Ownership and licence
You retain ownership of content you submit, including your display name, listings, venue details, notes, messages, ratings, and other text ("Your Content"). You grant Court Cobra a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, transmit, display, and moderate Your Content only as needed to provide, secure, operate, and enforce the Marketplace.
9.2 Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for Your Content and the consequences of posting or sharing it. You represent that Your Content is lawful, accurate to the best of your knowledge, non-infringing, and submitted with every required right and permission.
9.3 Public and shared content
Marketplace listings and member profile information are available only after sign-in and may be copied, saved, screenshotted, or shared by members who can view them. If a listing is limited to ID Verified members, only an ID Verified member can find and open a public listing or open a private listing through its link. A private listing without that limit is omitted from Browse but may be opened by a signed-in member who receives its link, and that link may be reshared. Messages and mobile numbers may be copied or disclosed by recipients. Deleting content from Court Cobra cannot remove copies already retained by another person or external service.
10. Messages, mobile numbers, and notifications
Marketplace chat is a communication tool between members, not a confidential advisory channel. Messages may be automatically moderated. Do not send passwords, payment credentials, identity documents, medical information, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Your mobile number is not public. Depending on a member's sharing setting and the Marketplace relationship, eligible members may reveal numbers immediately or request approval. When sharing is completed, both members receive each other's number. Court Cobra cannot control a recipient's device, address book, screenshots, exports, or later disclosures. Revoking access in Court Cobra does not erase a number already obtained by the recipient.
Marketplace email and browser notifications are optional. Delivery may be delayed, blocked, duplicated, or unavailable. The website Notification center remains the authoritative record. You remain responsible for checking the Marketplace and confirming time-sensitive details directly.
11. Ratings and trust signals
Experience ratings are opinions submitted by members. Court Cobra does not verify the underlying interaction, the reviewer's account, the accuracy or fairness of a rating, or whether relevant information has been omitted. Ratings may be mistaken, biased, manipulated, incomplete, or outdated.
Other than the narrow meaning of an Aadhaar identity badge described in Section 5, do not treat a rating, count, profile, listing history, or mobile number as proof of identity, honesty, competence, payment, attendance, booking ownership, quality, or safety. Court Cobra may restrict or remove ratings or accounts, but is not required to investigate or resolve every disagreement.
12. Safety and in-person activity
You are solely responsible for deciding whether to communicate, meet, pay, travel, attend, participate, continue, or leave. You assume all risks arising from Marketplace arrangements and in-person activity, including fraud, non-payment, lost funds, invalid bookings, cancellation, no-shows, venue refusal, unsafe conditions, travel, equipment, physical exertion, illness, injury, death, theft, harassment, assault, property damage, and the acts or omissions of members, venues, payment providers, and other third parties.
Make your own safety assessment, verify details with the venue, communicate boundaries, use suitable equipment, and obtain professional advice where appropriate. The Marketplace is not an emergency or monitoring service. Contact local emergency services if you need urgent help.
13. Moderation and enforcement
We may use automated and manual tools to review, restrict, remove, or preserve content; limit Marketplace features; suspend or terminate accounts; cooperate with lawful investigations; or report suspected illegal conduct. We may act when we reasonably believe content or conduct violates these Terms, creates risk, or may expose Court Cobra or another person to harm.
These tools do not create a duty to monitor every listing, message, member, payment, meeting, or transaction. A failure to remove content does not mean that Court Cobra has reviewed, verified, approved, or endorsed it.
13.1 Reporting content and complaints
Signed-in members can use the Report control on a profile, listing, chat, or message. Court Cobra assigns each submitted report a complaint ID and makes its current status available in the member's Reports page. You may also complain by emailing developer@courtcobra.com with your account email or mobile number, the relevant URL or complaint ID, the person or content concerned, a description of the issue, and supporting material. Do not send an Aadhaar document, payment credential, or unrelated sensitive information.
We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and ordinarily resolve them within 7 days. A complaint seeking removal of content prohibited by applicable intermediary law is handled within 36 hours. A complaint by or for an affected person concerning non-consensual intimate content, nudity, sexual content, or impersonation in an electronic form is handled within 2 hours. These are maximum service timelines, not promises that every complaint will result in removal.
The Grievance Officer may request information, preserve evidence, restrict content while reviewing it, notify an affected member where lawful, record the decision, and take proportionate account or content action. A person dissatisfied with our decision may use any appeal or grievance mechanism available under applicable law, including an appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee within 30 days where that mechanism applies. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement; Court Cobra is not an emergency service.
14. Court Cobra intellectual property
The Marketplace software, design, code, interfaces, compilation, branding, logos, and Court Cobra-created content are owned by Court Cobra or its licensors and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms grant you only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Marketplace as provided. They do not grant any right to use our trademarks, branding, or software outside the Marketplace.
15. Service availability and changes
The Marketplace may be unavailable, delayed, inaccurate, or interrupted. We do not guarantee that messages, notifications, listings, matches, location results, or status changes will be complete, current, delivered, or preserved. You should keep your own records of payments, bookings, terms, and communications.
We may add, change, restrict, suspend, or discontinue features or the Marketplace, including for maintenance, security, legal, operational, or product reasons. We will provide reasonable notice where practicable.
16. Release
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release Court Cobra, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, service providers, successors, and assigns from claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from or related to:
- a member, profile, listing, venue, booking, transfer, game, payment, refund, cancellation, rating, message, mobile-number exchange, or other member content or conduct;
- an arrangement, dispute, injury, loss, meeting, trip, activity, or transaction between members or involving a third party;
- content or information that is false, misleading, incomplete, unlawful, unavailable, unsafe, or not transferable; or
- your reliance on Marketplace content, matching, distance, notifications, status, ratings, or communication tools.
This release does not apply where a release is prohibited by applicable law.
17. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- No warranty.The Marketplace is provided "as is" and "as available", without express, implied, or statutory warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, quiet enjoyment, accuracy, availability, security, and non-infringement.
- No member or content warranty.We do not warrant any member's identity, conduct, authority, solvency, reliability, listing, content, booking, transfer, venue, payment, refund, attendance, skill, rating, safety, legality, accuracy, quality, or suitability.
- No transaction responsibility. We are not liable for payments, refunds, chargebacks, transfer failures, venue decisions, cancellations, no-shows, price disputes, fraud, or member-to-member agreements.
- No in-person responsibility. We are not liable for illness, injury, death, assault, harassment, theft, property damage, unsafe conditions, travel costs, venue issues, or any other harm connected with a game, meeting, or in-person interaction.
- Excluded damages. Court Cobra and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, service providers, successors, and assigns are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, reputation, opportunity, or expected savings.
- Liability cap. Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to the Marketplace or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid directly to Court Cobra for the Marketplace in the 12 months before the claim arose or USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, these provisions apply only to the fullest extent permitted by law.
18. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Court Cobra and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, service providers, successors, and assigns from claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, settlements, judgments, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from or related to:
- your use or misuse of the Marketplace;
- Your Content, listing, rating, message, or conduct;
- a game, booking, court transfer, payment, refund, meeting, or other arrangement in which you participate;
- your breach of these Terms, applicable law, venue rules, contract, or another person's rights; or
- an allegation that your content, listing, payment, transfer, or conduct caused injury, loss, privacy harm, property damage, reputational harm, or intellectual property harm.
19. Suspension, termination, and account deletion
You may stop using the Marketplace or delete your Court Cobra account from your profile. Account deletion is permanent. It removes your profile, listings, ratings, and other account-linked Marketplace data as described in the Privacy Policy. Some shared content may remain with your identity removed where needed to preserve another member's conversation or a shared game record.
We preserve the minimum registration information required by law for 180 days after account deletion. We also preserve removed or disabled content, associated records, reports, moderation decisions, and available evidence for at least 180 days, or longer where a legal hold, investigation, dispute, or law requires it. Access to retained material is restricted to legal, safety, security, and enforcement purposes.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk, use the Marketplace unlawfully, fail to cooperate with a reasonable safety or legal inquiry, or if we are required to act by law. Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide a reason and an opportunity to contact us.
Provisions that by their nature should survive will continue after termination, including provisions on member arrangements, content, intellectual property, release, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, disputes, and general terms.
20. Disputes with members and with Court Cobra
You are responsible for resolving disputes with other members, venues, payment providers, and third parties. Court Cobra has no obligation to mediate, decide, reimburse, enforce, or collect a member-to-member claim, although we may request information or take platform action.
For a dispute with Court Cobra, first contact developer@courtcobra.com. We will try to resolve it informally within 30 days. If informal resolution fails, either party may pursue available remedies before a court with jurisdiction.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, claims against Court Cobra must be brought individually and not as part of a class, collective, consolidated, private attorney general, or representative action. This does not limit a right that cannot lawfully be waived.
21. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer protection or other non-waivable laws in your jurisdiction continue to apply where they override this choice.
22. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For a material change, we will update the date above and provide notice through the Marketplace or your registered email at least 30 days before the change takes effect, unless an earlier change is reasonably necessary for security, legal, or abuse-prevention reasons.
Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Marketplace and delete your account before the revised Terms take effect.
23. General provisions
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Marketplace Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Court Cobra regarding the Marketplace.
- Severability. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective.
- No waiver. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of the Marketplace.
- No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms do not create rights for anyone other than you and Court Cobra.
- Force majeure. We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet or cloud outages, provider failures, government action, labour disputes, emergencies, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, or acts of third parties.
